The Type of Artist I'd Like to be:
I'd like to be a character designer after I graduate. I'm already pretty good at adapting my style and have thankfully have gotten over the dreaded 'same-face syndrome'. I'm good at drawing animals and anthros, but I'm not blind to my faults as an artist. My humanoids aren't as good as I'd like, and I have trouble with realism, especially hyper-realism. I also struggle with making a drawing not seem stiff. I think I have a pretty good start for my desired career, but there's still a number of things I need to work on.
As I mentioned before, I'm not the best at drawing humanoids, and so my portfolio doesn't have many. I also think branching out a little in terms of style could really help. Which just so happens to be what I want to focus on this term.
As for a personal passion project, I actually already have one. I've been working on a comic in my free time, though I don't think I'll be putting out the first few pages any time soon. I have the character designs and major story beats done, but I still need to figure out what to do between beats.
